Phnom Penh Post - Japanese giant Minebea (Cambodia) Co., Ltd plans to expand production and make additional investments in Cambodia. This information was raised during a meeting between Mr. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Investment Committee of Cambodia, who met with Mr. Kensuke WATANABE, Director of Administration and Human Resources of Minebea (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., for the purpose of discussing and exchanging views on the relevant legal and regulatory aspects in requesting to expand the production of electronic equipment, in which the company plans to invest an additional capital of approximately 15 million US dollars.
Minebea (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is a large Japanese company that has invested in Cambodia since 2011 in the production of various types of electronic components and has currently increased its investment capital to more than 700 million US dollars.
